Now that you have completed signing up for hostin , you probably want to upload your website. You should have received a welcome email from Pagecentral containing all your account information. Follow the simple steps below and you will be uploading your site in less than 5 minutes.

  1. First you must acquire an FTP program to upload your site. Popular programs such as Cute FTP and WS_FTP for the PC, or Fetch and Interarchy for the Mac can be found at Download.com
  2. After installing your FTP client, click the setting to create a new account or connection.
  3. In the box labeled "Hostname or IP address" enter your domain name (www.yourdomain.com). If your domain has not yet been configured you can choose to enter the server IP address instead, 70.103.16.164. It is not recommended to connect via IP address as IP address will change from time to time.
  4. In the box label "User Name" enter the ftp username sent with your account details, (ex. yourdomain@pagecentral.com)
  5. In the box labeled "Password" enter the ftp password sent with your account details.
  6. Check the box labeled "Passive Mode" and click "Submit"
  7. You're done! Make a connection and begin uploading your files.
